My daughter is currently going through a daddy phase. Given a choice, she'll choose her daddy. Daddy gets her up in the morning, picks her up when she's sad, Daddy can convince her to put her shoes on and brush her teeth. Daddy this, Daddy that. No Mommy, I want Daddy!
Secretly, I'm loving it!
Does it hurt my feelings that she'd rather have her daddy right now? Not one bit! It gives me a little bit of breathing room, and that's good for everyone.
Besides, they're so darn cute together!
