Maybe just trim the piece that keeps falling into her beautiful eyes. The rest will quickly catch up. It seems to be growing fast. But then again I am always trimming away at hair, so am probably not the one to advise.
Absolutely do NOT cut that hair. Just gather it in a barette and let it stick straight on up as all good pony tails should!
As an aside...in our house we call all hair accoutriments "pretties." It doesn't matter if it is a rubber band, bow, barette, etc. It is a pretty! So join in and let Violet have a pretty as well!
I'm with anonymous - maybe just a trim of the piece that's a little longer than the rest. Just to even it out! And then add a bow or a barrette. But I have a boy... so maybe I'm not the one to ask... :)
Meh, leave it... Maybe use a small bow to the side?
